Amazfit has fully revealed the Pop 3S, following the publication of teasers on Amazon earlier this week. As expected, the Amazfit Pop 3S relies on a 1.96-inch AMOLED display, which resolves at 502 x 410 pixels. While the company continues to stress that the smartwatch has a metallic housing, we suspect this is a coating applied on a plastic frame.

Nonetheless, the company includes a stainless steel hardware button and an optional stainless steel watch strap. Additionally, the Pop 3S comes with over 100 sports modes pre-loaded and first-party apps that mirror smartphone functionality, such as music playback and phone calls. Please note that there is no third-party app store, as there are with smartwatches running watchOS, WearOS and HarmonyOS. Still, Amazfit has integrated microphones, a small speaker and sensors for monitoring your heart rate, blood oxygen levels and sleep quality.

Moreover, the Pop 3S supports always-on display (AOD) functionality. However, it has not confirmed the extent to which this affects battery life. Seemingly, the company rates the smartwatch for up to 12 days of battery life but only with AOD disabled. Currently, the Pop 3S is only available in India, where it sells for INR 5,999 (~US$73). It remains to be seen whether Amazfit plans to offer the Pop 3S elsewhere, as appears to be the case with the forthcoming Cheetah series.
